Terms & Conditions

Effective 3 October 2026 · Last updated 3 October 2026

These terms apply the moment you download or use AdGap, so please read them carefully first. If you don't agree with them, don't use the app.

AdGap does not collect anything for us. The blocking happens in Safari on your device. See the Privacy Policy.

01Licence & intellectual property

You get a personal, non-transferable licence to use AdGap on your own devices. You may not copy or modify the app, extract or reverse-engineer its source code, translate it, or create derivative versions. The app and all related trademarks, copyright and other intellectual property remain the property of Marco Cebrián Muiño.

02Filter lists

For the standard network blocking, AdGap downloads a curated set of filter lists by AdGuard, HaGeZi, the EasyList authors and the authors of each regional list. The lists belong to their authors and are used under their licences. AdGap is not affiliated with them, or with any DNS service, website or anti-adblock vendor named in its description.

03Price & changes

AdGap is a one-time purchase on the App Store; the price is shown there before you pay. Marco Cebrián Muiño is committed to keeping the app useful and efficient, and reserves the right to change it, or its price, at any time. We will never charge you for the app or a service without making very clear exactly what you're paying for.

04What the blocker can and cannot promise

Websites, their ads and the systems that detect ad blockers change often. AdGap aims to block ads, close the gaps they leave and hide walls, but it cannot promise that every ad or wall is removed on every site, every day. In-video ads is an experimental setting and can stop working for a while when a site changes. Blocking can also make a page behave differently; if a page does not work, pause AdGap on that site with the switch in Safari. Marco Cebrián Muiño accepts no liability for any direct or indirect loss from a page that was blocked, changed or not blocked.

05Your use of websites

You are responsible for how you use the websites you visit and for the terms you have agreed with them. AdGap changes only what is loaded and shown in Safari on your own device. Nothing is clicked or accepted for you.

06Your device & network

AdGap needs a network connection to download and refresh its filter lists; your provider may charge you for data. You're responsible for keeping your device and Safari up to date, and for turning on the extensions in Safari’s settings.

07Updates & termination

The app is available for macOS, iOS and iPadOS. System requirements may change, and you'll need to install updates to keep using it. You agree to accept updates when they're offered. We may also stop providing the app and end your right to use it at any time without notice. On termination, the rights granted to you here end and you must stop using and, if asked, delete the app.

08Changes to these terms

These terms may be updated from time to time, so please check this page periodically. Any changes are effective as soon as they're posted here.
