MyCAS is a computer algebra system that runs on your device. This policy says, in plain words, what happens to your questions. There is very little to say: we never receive them.
01What we collect
Nothing. There is no sign-up and no user account. There is no server that receives your mathematics, your device name, or a usage log.
02What stays on the device
The calculation happens on the macOS, iOS or Android device in front of you. So you can ask a question again, the app may keep a short list of recent questions on that device, and the number of decimals you chose. That list is not uploaded. Removing the app removes it. We cannot read it.
03Report a problem
A control in the app opens your own mail app with a draft. The draft can include the question on screen, how it was answered, the version and the window size, so a bug report is useful. Nothing is sent until you send that mail yourself. If you never send it, we never see it.
04Third parties & tracking
There are no advertising networks and no analytics or tracking tools in the app. Your usage is not profiled, shared or sold. Computing an answer does not contact us, and it does not need the internet.
05Your control
Because we never receive your questions, there is nothing for us to delete on request. Delete the app, and the on-device list goes with it.
